Home Caregiver Pilot Program

These pilot projects; Home Child Care Provider and Home Support Worker Pilot, have been rising in popularity for multiple reasons:

Applicant can directly apply for Permanent Residency of Canada, along with their occupation based open work permit
- Dependant spouse can also apply for open work permit
- Dependant children can apply under student visa or visitor visa
LMIA is NOT required

The job duties are similar to the previous Nanny or Caregiver program.

Applicants may be eligible to apply for either of these pilots if they:

Have a genuine and valid job offer
Can prove they fit the pilots’ job requirements for Canada (have previous education and/or experience)
Meet the language level (proof to be provided with IELTS-General score card)
Meet the education requirement (ECA report for foreign education equivalency)
